Our Story
Northern Nevada Arts Council was founded in 1972 as a presenting organization, bringing arts and entertainment to Winnemucca. We are a non-profit organization comprised entirely of volunteers who are dedicated to providing the best of amateur and professional entertainment to north central Nevada.
Our Mission
Northern Nevada Arts Council was founded to aid, encourage, advise and coordinate activities dedicated to promote the arts and to provide cultural enrichment to members of the community by creating opportunities to experience and to participate in the performing and visual arts in the Winnemucca area.
Our Work
NoNAC presents concerts, live theater and childrens' summer theater in Winnemucca, NV.Our entities are the White Sage Theater group, Winnemucca Civic Chorus and Winnemucca Presents LIVE!. We strive to use local talent and visiting artists to provide a variety of entertainment to our citizens.
